Biden to Remain in Delaware As Russia-Ukraine Conflict Escalates

As the Russian assault of Ukraine escalates, President Biden remains at his private residence in Delaware, Fox News informed.

As Russia and Ukraine battle for the fourth day, Russian President Vladimir Putin increased the alert status of his nuclear forces to “special regime of combat duty.”

Putin gave the Russian defense minister and the commander of the military’s General Staff orders to place the nuclear deterrent forces on a “special combat duty regime.”

The action indicates that tensions may be on the verge of escalating into a nuclear war.

In the same time, Biden is still at his Delaware home, and media contacts with the commander-in-chief have slowed to a crawl.

Last week, Putin warned that countries that intervene with his invasion of Ukraine would face “never-before-seen consequences.”

Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, warned Sunday that Russia’s actions in Ukraine are akin to war and that the country will respond accordingly.

As Russian soldiers continue to move through Ukraine, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby spoke to reporters on Friday about the US military’s preparations to assist the country.

Kirby was questioned by a reporter if US intelligence shows Russian President Vladimir Putin would halt his progress with Ukraine.

Some European countries are concerned that the Russia president’s campaign may extend beyond the country’s war-torn boundaries.

Sen. Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., told Fox News Digital at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that Putin will only respond to “those with a spine” who stand up to the autocratic leader, something the US is currently failing to do under Biden’s leadership, he said.
