Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida is set to join Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas on the southern border for a security briefing over the weekend, Fox News informed.
The meeting was revealed in a press release from the office of Abbott and is set to be held on Saturday at 2:15 pm in Del Rio. It is set to give an update from the local and state officials about the surge of illegal migrants that is ongoing in Texas.
The meeting will also be attended by Ken Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, Steve McCraw, Director of Department of Public Safety, and Nim Kidd, the chief of Division Of Emergency Management, as well as other official figures.
