Pompeo Argues that GOP Can Reclaim US only If it Focuses on Faith

Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State on Monday revealed what he thinks is the best way for the GOP saying that the focus is put on the faith in God, Fox News informed.

He argued that faith in God was practiced by some of America’s greatest leaders of all time.

Pompeo, an influential US conservative, stated these comments at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and the Museum in Simi Valley in California.

He also spoke about the achievements of the foreign policy of former President Trump and his administration, but he mainly put emphasis on the future of the Republican Party.

Pompeo stated that faith in God has also been a source of strength in the field of personal life, adding that if there is no faith it is very difficult to be a leader.

He also mentioned the soldiers and their faith when they are on the battlefields and the soothing feeling from knowing there is everlasting life, after their current existence.”

The former Secretary of State also mentioned George Washington and Ronald Reagan and talked about their faith when they were faced with very difficult challenges.

Washington was up against the strong British army and Reagan had to face the Soviet Union.

Pompeo described them as “immortal examples” that the GOP should take into account.
