Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas blasted US President Joe Biden for cancelling the flights that were scheduled for the deportation of the immigrants to Haiti, only to put them in Del Rio, Texas, Fox News informed.
Cruz appeared at Michigan’s Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference on Friday, where he spoke about the increased crisis with illegal immigrants at the southern border.
Texas Senator Cruz dubbed the southern border situation as “absolute catastrophe” and mentioned the on September 8, there were between 700 and 1,000 illegal migrants from Haiti who were held under Del Rio Bridge.
