Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas pledged on Wednesday that he will take to court any local government or school that will defy his order aimed at barring face coverings, after he challenged a mask order instated by Dallas, Fox News informed.
Along with Ken Paxton, the state’s Attorney General Abbott petitions the 5th Court of Appeals trying to block a ruling by a district judge which allowed the certain school district in Dallas to require face coverings.
Earlier, Clay Jenkins, a judge for the Dallas County ruled that all schools and childcare centers, but also businesses must mandate masks, after a he was granted temporary powers by a district judge to supersede overrule the previous governor’s order.
