Former President Donald Trump attorney’s have asked the federal judge on Wednesday to stop the DOJ’s order which asks the IRS to disclose his income tax returns to the US Congress, CNBC informed.
The attorneys said that the House Ways and Means Committee wants those tax returns in order to search for some embarrassing information.
Trump’s lawyers have asked for an injunction that will prohibit the IRS to comply with the committee’s request for the former President’s tax returns.
