Democratic Representative Ilham Omar revealed 2 guaranteed income draft bills on Friday, that cover sending $1,200 monthly checks to US residents before the end of the decade, some reports claim, Fox News informed.
According to WCCO-TV, Minneapolis, the legislation dubbed SUPPORT Act is set to finance some income pilot programs on the local level, with the help of $2.5 billion in grants.
As of 2028, the national program is set to send $1,200 monthly to those people who earn less than $75,000 annually or heads of households that earn less than $112,500 annually plus an additional $600 for every child.
