Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, slammed Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker after she once again imposed the mask requirements on the House floor, which now covers even those people who received vaccines, Fox News informed.
Pelosi reinstated the mask mandate due to the quick spread of the new, delta variant of the Covid-19.
Cruz stated that the House Speaker is “drunk on power” and that this is a perfect example of how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
