Kamala Harris, US Vice President has tested negative of Covid-19 after she met with House Democratic lawmakers from Texas who has contracted the virus, according to Press Secretary of the White House Jen Psaki, Fox News informed.
Psaki said that the office of the Vice President revealed that she was tested and that she came out negative of Covid-19.
Harris’s office also disclosed some details about the proximity to the people who were tested positive.
From the group of House Democrats from Texas who traveled to Washington DC, five have tested positive for Covid-19 this week. Harris held a meeting with the lawmakers last Tuesday.
Psaki did not directly answer when asked if the White House was disappointed that House Democrats failed to wear masks on the flight to Washington DC.
