Several House Republicans have introduced a bill on Friday aimed at banning the federal Covid-19 mask mandates in public transport, claiming that now everything should return as it was before the pandemic started, Fox News informed.
First shared with Fox News the bill introduced by Representative Andy Biggs, who heads the House Freedom Caucus, is set to serve as the House companion legislation to Senator Rand Paul’s mask mandate bill in the Senate.
According to Biggs there are no scientific proofs that mask mandate should still be enforced on public transport.
Biggs then continued that mask mandates are outdated and that they are being enforced by those people who like to have a control over people’s lives.
He also said that it is now time for the CDC to make a decision based on science and annul the tyrannical restrictions.
