US President Biden said that he is open to the idea of exchanging cybercriminals with Russia ahead of his Wednesday meeting with Vladimir Putin, Fox News informed.
Biden said that he is open to this idea, and that if there are indeed people who are committing crimes against Russia from the US, he will commit to held them accountable for their actions. He also said that this might be a good sign in terms of progress, speaking at a press conference of the G-7 summit in the UK.
Russian president has raised this question in an interview during the weekend.
According to TASS, the Russian news agency Putin said that he will agree to extradite criminals but only if the US also agrees to extradite the same profiles to Russia.
