President Donald Trump capped off Friday with a round of nominations for key administration posts, including naming his picks to be ambassador to India and Germany, The Hill reports.
Trump nominated Fox News contributor and former United Nations spokesman Richard Grenell to be his ambassador to Germany. The president also elevated a senior official on the National Economic Council, Kenneth Juster, to serve as his ambassador to India.
Trump on Friday selected a pair of GOP lawmakers for key posts: Representative James Bridenstine as his pick to be the administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Representative Tom Marino as his nominee to lead the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
The list of nominations, around 42 in all, seek to fill key positions throughout the Trump administration, including in the departments of Justice, Agriculture and Defense, as well as in executive agencies, like the Office of Personnel Management and the General Services Administration.
Trump also tapped nominees for ambassadorships to posts in Djibouti, Angola, Zambia, Croatia, Estonia, Switzerland, Mauritius, Seychelles and Niger.
