Donald Trump, the former US President put pressure on Justice Department senior officials before leaving office to annul Biden’s presidential victory, according to House Oversight and Reform Committee, CNBC informed.
The panel has cited some notes that were taken during a call with former President Trump, but also with the then-Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen.
Trump instructed the DOJ to say that the election was corrupt, the notes of Richard Donoghue, the former deputy attorney general said.
The notes also showed that Trump said that he considered replacing the leadership of the agency.
