US President Joe Biden mentioned global warming as part of concerns of what might have potentially contributed to the collapse of Surfside Condo in Florida last week, Fox News informed.
Biden said that he does not possess any solid evidence on what was the reason behind the collapse that killed 18 people, while 145 are still reported missing.
However, he did say there were some “rational speculations” if the rising sea level might have had impact.
Biden met with the families of the victims, after he toured the scene of the Surfside building, and said that he was quite surprised how many of them spoke about global warming threats.
