Biden Pick for OPM Headed for Close Party-Line Voting

US President Joe Biden’s nominee for head of OPM (Office of Personnel Management), Kiran Ahuja, is set to be headed for a party line voting in Senate, Fox News informed.

The news arrive amid concerns by the GOP of her past relations to the critical race theory and to Ibram X. Kendi.

Josh Hawley, a Senator from Montana had been the most vocal about Ahuja, Biden’s OPM pick who Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader, filed cloture on previous week. Schumer’s move will most likely initiate procedural vote this week, which will show if she has the needed support to be appointed in the final vote.

Hawley highlighted that Ahuja has espoused radical racial theorists as her thought leaders, and that he is very concerned about politicization of federal government.
