Chinese DM Claims Joint Patrols with Russia Not Directed Against 3rd Parties

Russia-China joint military exercises are not aimed against third parties and are not related to the current international and regional situation, and both countries are carrying them out in strict accordance with international law, Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian stressed.

According to the Russian-Chinese annual plan for inter-army cooperation, Russian and Chinese naval forces have been conducting joint patrols in the Western and Northern parts of the Pacific Ocean

Per the Chinese ministry, all navigation of the joint naval drills is in international waters and they are carried out in strict accordance with international law with their aim being the joint protection of international justice and maintaining security in the world.
