House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is gearing up to rejoin the Glamazons for a comeback appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars, The Hill reported.
According to Paramount+, Pelosi will make a “special cameo” on the forthcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The next season of the drag queen contest will begin on the streaming network on May 20 and will follow past champions as they compete for the title of “Queen of All Queens” and a cash prize of $200,000.
Pelosi made an appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars in 2018, and this will be a sort of reunion for the speaker.
The concept of individuals “believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not only a lesson for politicians, but for everyone in the country,” Pelosi said in an interview following her first cameo, adding that she was so ecstatic and couldn’t wait to be on the show.
Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz, writer Ronan Farrow, singer-songwriter Ben Platt, fashion designer Betsey Johnson, Swedish singer Tove Lo, and stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser are among the star-studded lineup of celebrity guest judges, which also includes Pelosi.
