High-level cooperation between Russia and China has worried the US authorities, Reuters reported.
According to the news agency, Washington officials have expressed serious concern about recent cooperation between Russia and China at the highest level.
A senior official in the US administration stated that Moscow and Beijing are working to harm Washington.
The official also noted that the recent meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping indicates that Beijing considers Moscow’s actions against Kyiv as legitimate, Channel News Asia (CNA) writes.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an unprecedented high level of partnership between Russia and China.
Putin described the interaction between the two countries as a model of efficiency, responsibility, and commitment to the future.
