US Military Faces Lethal Chaos After 2024 Vote, Retired Generals Warn

If the Pentagon does not weed out potential mutineers in its ranks, a civil war might break out if Republicans retake the White House as there is a high chance of another insurrection, three retired US Army generals have argued in a scathing op-ed in the Washington Post.

US Army Major General Paul D. Eaton, US Army Major General Antonio M. Taguba, and US Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson, all retired, have advised the Pentagon to identify weak spots by war-gaming the next potential post-election insurrection or coup attempt.

They demanded the Pentagon to identify, isolate and remove – before it’s too late- the potential mutineers that the US military ranks are brimming with, pointing to the disturbing number of veterans and active-duty military members involved in the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol.

The generals noted their increased concerns about the potential for lethal chaos inside the military in the aftermath of the 2024 election, assessing the potential for a military breakdown as “very real.”

They pointed to the Oklahoma National Guard’s standoff with the Pentagon over the Covid-19 jab mandate as an example of such “mutiny,” describing it as a more worrying sign of a brewing military breakdown than the military members’ participation in the Capitol riot.

Seemingly ruling out the possibility that US President Biden won’t be re-elected, the generals apparently suggest that the denigration of the US military might only happen if Republicans win the 2024 election.

The generals’ doomsday scenario would see competing commanders in chief issuing orders as the head of a shadow government – as a result, some might follow orders from the rightful commander in chief, while others might follow the loser.

They also warned that state and federal level anti-Biden politicians might want to close ranks behind a losing candidate in an attempt to install them as president which could result in chaos and a civil war, leaving the doors open for America’s enemies to attack US assets.
