US White House has tried to make sense of the recent comments from Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, Fox News informed.
The White House attempted to clarify these comments about Harris’s viewpoint into Covid-19 delta and omicron variants.
One Harris’ adviser gave a statement that her comments strictly referred to the specific kind of mutation. The Biden Administration was aware that mutations were possible, and that is why they have obtained more tests, gear, and PPE.
Harris talked about the variants of the Covid-19 saying that as it was with the delta variant, the omicron variant was not timely registered.
Delta and omicron, are the most prevalent variants in the US, right now. The omicron is a very contagious strain and due to this, it is expected that it will replace the delta very quickly.
The White House also said that all of the measures that were implemented for the Covid-19 were actually to prepare the people for the possible variants.
