Stanford University revealed a new policy that will require weekly Covid-19 tests for all the people who are entering the university campus regardless of their status of vaccination, Fox News informed.

Susie Brubaker-Cole, the Stanford Vice Provost for Student Affairs revealed the news on Wednesday in a letter to students saying that the testing with Color Genomics will be obligatory for the students that live on the campus, students that live off-campus but university have provided their housing, and those who are visiting the campus, no matter if they have received a Covid-19 vaccine.

The move reverses a previous decision the university set in place last month, when it eliminated all testing requirements for students who are fully vaccinated.

However, due to the much more contagious delta variant from the Covid-19 who is spreading very fast across all of the US, the University made a decision to reinforce the tests in an attempt to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on the campus.
