While the migration crisis shows no sign of abating in the US, Fox News host Tucker Carlson has revealed that the Pentagon is using an Air Force base in Texas for the “resettlement” of illegal migrants across the United States on passenger planes.
More than 180,000 undocumented migrants were apprehended last month along the country’s southern border with Mexico by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) the biggest monthly total since April 2000.
Citing an internal email sent in the Laughlin Air Force Base that he obtained, Carlson noted that this confirmed that Biden administration has enlisted the US military to move illegal immigrants secretly around our country.
The email was sent by Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Burrows, who explains the situation to his subordinates at the Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas, informing him that over the next few days, weeks, or months he may see passenger aircraft transporting undocumented non-citizens and warning him, at the same time, not to take photographs or post anything on social media.
Referring to the document, Carlson said that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has promised them additional details several times, but didn’t follow through on its promises.
Fox News host added that Americans apparently do not have right to know where foreign nationals are being resettled, pointing that ICE used the Laughlin Airbase in 2019, when it transported migrants from one border crossing to another for deportation, in so-called lateral flights.
Pentagon spokesman Chris Mitchell has previously confirmed that the Laughlin base is being used again to fly migrants, describing the flights as non-citizen movement and an ICE mission.
