A group of progressive leftwing organizations is set to send a letter to US President Joe Biden in an attempt to ease the administration’s constant confronting approach on matters that involve China, due to climate change reasons, Fox News informed.
The ongoing tensions between the US and China have surged under former President Donald Trump, but Biden administration hasn’t done anything in order to pacify the relations.
The group of more than 40 organizations is concerned that the issues involving the hardline approach to Uyghur genocide and the abuse of human rights in Hong Kong could threaten the issue of climate change, which is a big-ticket item in Biden’s policies.
