A man from Cleveland was charged with issuing threats to kill Nancy Pelosi, the US House Speaker, for committing treason against the country, according to some documents, Fox News informed.
According to Cleveland.com, the 53-year-old man, called Texas, California, and Kentucky’s police departments in November to disclose his detailed plans to kill a congresswoman, but the name of the lawmaker was redacted from the affidavit which was submitted on Tuesday.
However, the filing indicates that the congresswoman Pelosi, 81, was the perpetrator’s possible target, starting with the three calls that were conducted on November 13, several days after Joe Biden won the election and became the 46th president of the United States.
