Democratic Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia, proceeded with his silence on US President Joe Biden’s pick to head the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) as the president is faced with calls for her withdrawal over eco-terrorism ties, Fox News informed.
Manchin is yet to announce his position of whether he supports Tracy Stone-Manning to head the BLM.
John Barraso a Republican from Wyoming, has reiterated calls for the President Biden to withdraw the nomination of Stone-Manning.
Yvette Herrel a Republican lawmaker, along with a group of other GOP lawmakers, penned a letter to Manchin encouraging him to support the withdrawal calls for Biden’s nominee.
