Federal Executions on Hold until DOJ Reviews All Procedures and Policies

On Thursday, Merrick Garland, the US Attorney General issued a memo that demands a moratorium on the federal executions, Fox News informed.

Garland stated that the DOJ has to ensure that every subject in the hands of the federal justice system has all the rights the Constitution and the US laws guarantee, but also is treated humanely and fairly, an obligation that has a special force in the capital cases.

All the executions are to be put on hold until the Department of Justice reviews all the procedures and policies.
