NYC Board of Election Counted 135,000 Test Votes by Mistake

The NYC Board of Election Tuesday was harshly criticized for counting 135,000 pre-election test votes by mistake due to improper purge from the system, Fox News informed.

The Board of Election tweeted to reveal the news and claimed that the test votes were not purged from the EMS (Election Management System).

The BOE issued an apology and immediately reacted with measures that will ensure the most accurate number of votes to be reported.

According to a tweet by New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz, the issue with the votes is very damaging for the public trust in elections.
