The founder of the anti-crime group Guardian Angels In New York City, Curtis Sliwa took a big victory on Tuesday in the GOP mayorial primaries, Fox News informed.
With the current results obtained from more than 82% of the districts, Sliwa had won 23,698 votes, or 69% of the city’s Republican voters, according to the New York Post.
Rob Cole, Sliwa’s campaign adviser told the Post that Curtis has won the primary and that they want to unify the GOP and hope that Sliwa’s top competitor Fernando Mateo will join them.
