Ocasio-Cortez Mocks Thom Tillis for Giving his Dog a ‘Conservative’ Name

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York, mocked Republican Senator Thom Tillis Monday after his announcement that he will name his dog after the former President Theodore Roosevelt, who is also the founder of the Progressive Party, Fox News informed.

The Squad member made her comments after Tillis published a photo holding his dog, Theo, while he spoke to the reporters on Capitol Hill. Tillis also said that the dog’s name was given because all his dogs were named after conservative figures.

Ocasio-Cortez also said that the senator should name his next dog Bull Moose.

Former President Theodore Roosevelt spent his career as a Republican and was a party member during his serving as president in the White House in the period from 1901 to 1909. However, he also founded the Bull Moose Party, more commonly known as the Progressive Party, after he did not succeed to win the Republican Party’s presidential election in 1912.
