Senator from Iowa Bernie Sanders on Sunday refused to recall on his past remarks that Amy Coney Barrett, Supreme Court Justice would vote against the Affordable Care Act, after US highest court justice voted to uphold the law, Fox News informed.

The head of the Senate Budget Committee, was a guest on “State of the Union” on CNN, where host Dana Bash asked the senator whether he was in the wrong when he said that Barrett would vote to block the ACA (Affordable Care Act) and leave millions of US citizens without a health care plan.

Justice Barrett stood with the majority on this law and voted to uphold the ACA, more commonly known as ObamaCare, with a 7-2 decision.

Sanders said that the Supreme Court now is full of conservative justices who will probably be voting for the interest of wealthy and powerful people rather than for working class families.

The entire ObamaCare act was upheld with the last week’s Supreme Court ruling, although Democrats had aired claims that court would destroy the Affordable Care Act if the Justice Barrett became part of the highest court in the US.
