Democratic Representative Adam Schiff from California urged US to step up the offense strategy, not just playing defensively, amid the increased threat of cyberattacks, Fox News informed.
Schiff said that what that means is that all the cyber groups working with foreign states, to be treated as part of that states, adding that with the help of US’s cyber capabilities the country can destroy their infrastructure and raid the finances they are collecting from these type of attacks.
Schiff heads the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and is also one of the high-ranking Democrats that pushed the narrative for Russian collusion.
