Attorneys General Urge Congress to Pass Ken Buck’s Antitrust Legislation

A coalition of 52 general attorneys from both sides of the aisle sent a letter to the congress antitrust leaders in which they urge them to give their support for Representative Ken Buck’s antitrust legislation, Fox News informed.

The letter voices the attorney generals’ support of Buck’s legislation called the State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act of 2021. The group was led by Attorneys General William Tong of Connecticut; Phil Weiser of Colorado; Ken Paxton of Texas and Jeff Landry of Louisiana.

The letter was addressed to the Senate antitrust committee leaders, Senators Mike Lee and Amy Klobuchar, as well as House contemporaries David Cicilline and Ken Buck himself.

The same letter also mentions that numerous state attorneys general in US are in an active pursuit of antitrust enforcement measures in the name of consumers and their states.
