Former President Donald Trump’s blog, in which he shared thoughts and comments with his audience after his accounts were blocked on major social networking platforms, has been permanently shut down, Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller said on Wednesday.
According to Miller, the blog named “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump”, which was active for about a month has been removed from his site and will not be restored. The representative explained that “the blog only played a supporting role in the wider project currently underway”.
Miller did not provide any further information on what will Trump do next when it comes to engaging with his fans and supporters.
Social media giants Facebook and Twitter blocked Trump’s accounts after the January 6 riots, when a crowd of his supporters invaded the U.S. Capitol.
