After a Bad Week, Bitcoin Climbs Around $40,000

Cryptocurrencies have yet to come close to their April all-time highs, but Bitcoin has been strengthening for most of the week, even surpassing the $40,000 mark at times.

Bitcoin, together with most cryptocurrencies experienced a free fall last week. On Wednesday, the bitcoin exchange rate fell to $30,201, despite the fact that a month ago its rate was more than twice as high.

Bitcoin last traded for thirty thousand dollars earlier this year, but then the exchange rate appreciated sharply despite smaller or larger fluctuations.

However, Bitcoin is gradually strengthening this week. At the beginning of the week, its growth began at $32,000, but on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, one coin was trading at a peak of just over $40,000.
