US Vice President Kamala Harris faced some backlash on Twitter after she was caught on camera how she is wiping her right hand right after a handshake with the President of South Korea Moon Jae-in, Fox News informed.
VP Harris and President Moon talked about North Korea, the global health situation and main causes of migration to US from Central America.
Numerous accounts accused Harris of insulting the South Korean President, and some even claimed that a Republican leader might have faced fiercer criticism if the same action was conducted.
One user stated that what Kamala Harris did was rude and disrespectful, while another said that it was embarrassing.
This is not the first Kamala Harris was called out for a inappropriate behavior. In late March, media outlets noticed that she did not salute the US military personnel while boarding the Air Force Two.
