Bill Jackson’s article in today’s Government Computer News, “Security Issues To Fear In The New Year,” is enough to want to make you want to go back to bed and stay hidden under the covers. Cloud computing, the move to mobile, Twitter, FaceBook, and social media in general, are all opportunities for new exploits for the world’s hackers and spammers.
“Users without a high level of skepticism could become their own worst enemies as they fall prey to solicitations and messages delivered through and to these sites,” writes Jackson. Scary, but common sense across the web.
