Trump Claims He Gets More Than Enough Exercise

In a new interview on Wednesday, President Donald Trump stated that he gets “more exercise than people think.” This comes after the White House doctor said he recommends that the President exercise more.

“I get exercise. I mean I walk, I this, I that. I run over to a building next door. I get more exercise than people think” Trump said to Reuters.

President Trump also added that he gets exercise when he goes golfing, although most of the time he uses a golf car to travel across the golf course because, as he says, walking the entire course takes forever.

“I don’t want to spend the time,” he said.

President Trump said “most of us could lose a couple of pounds,” after which he took a good look at the Reuters reporters telling them they were in “pretty good shape.”

The White House on Tuesday released the results of Trump’s physical exam since he came to the White House. The president was declared to be in “excellent” health by the White House doctor Navy Rear Admiral Dr. Ronny Jackson.

According to the report, President Trump is 75 inches tall and weighs 239 pounds. Doctor Jackson said he recommends that Trump up his dose of Crestor, a cholesterol-lowering drug, and added that he was working with nutritionists and his medical team to design a better diet and exercise plan for Trump, whom he said could stand to lose 10 to 15 pounds.

“His cardiac performance during his physical exam was very good, he continues to enjoy the significant, long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from a lifetime of abstinence from tobacco and alcohol,” Jackson said during the White House Q&A.

“All data indicates the president is healthy and will remain so for the duration of his presidency,” he added.
