Donald Trump Melts Down on Truth Social Over Jan 6 Testimony

New bombshell testimony from a former White House aide has sent former president Donald Trump flying.

Trump is not happy with the testimony provided in the latest House select committee Jan. 6 hearing. Cassidy Hutchinson, former top aide to Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows, piled on the new revelations on Tuesday.

What Hutchinson shared to the Select Committee and the public sent Trump off the handles, posting wildly on Truth Social throughout the televised hearing.

“I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and “leaker”)…” Trump posted on his platform in the first of many, many rants.

“She is bad news!” He exclaimed.

Hutchinson’s testimony included many discoveries, including that he apparently urged the Secret Service to remove the metal detectors where he was giving his speech on the morning of Jan. 6 rally. The attendees, his supporters, Trump urged, and therefore were “not here to hurt me.”

Trump denied, denied, denied Hutchinson’s statements.

Said it was a “Fake story” that he tried to grab the steering wheel of the Secret Service agent to steer it to the Capitol. He also said the story of him throwing his lunch at the wall was false. So too, apparently, was the testimony that he complained about the size of the rally, claiming “it was massive.”

He also said he didn’t want to make “room for people with guns to watch my speech,” adding, “Who would ever want that? Not me!”

He further claimed “there were no guns found or brought into the Capitol Building.”

But Trump’s defense is blatantly incorrect. A number of his supporters were found to carry firearms while storming the Capitol. They are being charged accordingly. Others carried knives, bats, and other weapons.

He called the hearing a “Kangaroo Court” and randomly said “Fantasy Land!”. He did not like that there wasn’t a “cross examination” of the witness, which is a thing that does not happen in a testimony, since this is not a criminal trial.

Trump and the Republican Party has refused to take part in the hearings.
