Kevin McCarthy Highlights Republican Objectives if GOP Retakes House

Kevin McCarthy, the Republican House Minority Leader, highlighted several objectives for his party if they are to retake the House in the 2022 midterm elections, Fox News informed.

The GOP agenda, according to a source familiar with McCarthy’s reasoning, is much broader than the observations highlighted in the press briefing and includes addressing the problems such as supply chain issues, Biden’s haphazard withdrawal from Afghanistan, the chaos at the southern border, concerns about the Covid-19 origins, and a wide range of other matters.

Republicans have already sent preservation notices and document requests, according to the source, and “will be prepared on Day 1 to use the numerous tools available” to get responses on problems like Biden’s Department of Justice’s politically driven moves and the IRS and NSA’s disclosure of personal citizen information.

According to polling, Biden’s approval rating among Americans is at an all-time low, with only 33% of the population saying they approve of the work he’s doing.

Moreover, almost a year into his four-year term, 55 percent of Americans disapprove of his performance.

While many feel that the GOP is in a strong position to retake control of Congress in November elections, the Democrats’ House reelection wing outperformed their Republican opponents last year, as both major political parties prepare for a bitter battle for the majority in the House of Representatives.
