Biden to Sign Order to Curb on Big Tech

US President Joe Biden is set to sign new executive order on Friday, that is aimed at curbing anti-competitive practices in the Big Tech, the labor sector, and many other sectors, CNBC informed.

The order, which incorporates 72 actions and recommendation and covers several federal agencies, is aimed at reshaping the mindset around antitrust law and corporate consolidation, White House informed.

In an exclusive interview for CNBC’s Ylan Mui, Brian Deese, the White House chief economic advisor, said that the reasoning behind this order is around where can they boost greater competition across the board.

According to his schedule, Biden will sign the order at 1:30 p.m. ET, at the White House.
