Conservatives Blast Trump for Mocking DeSantis

After attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Saturday, conservative commentators—who had previously supported Donald Trump—turned against the former president, Fox News informed.

While discussing the 2024 Republican presidential primary at a speech in Pennsylvania, Trump made fun of DeSantis by calling him “Ron DeSanctimonious.” Though DeSantis has not declared his intention to run, the two is usually regarded as the leading candidates for the Republican candidacy. Three days before the midterm elections, Trump was criticized by commentators for sowing discord among his supporters.

DeSantis is a very effective conservative governor who has had real policy victories and real cultural victories, according to Matt Walsh, a commentator at The Daily Wire and a prominent figure among social conservatives. Trump won’t be able to win this one by using a stupid nickname. He had better have something more in store.

Additionally, he noted that three days before the midterm elections, when Republicans are supposed to present a united front, Trump publicly attacked the most well-liked conservative governor in the United States.
