Fundraiser Linked to Rashida Tlaib on Leave over Anti-semitic Remarks

Rashida Tlaib

After news of his anti-Semitic social media remarks, the New York Democrat fundraiser connected to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., who is a member of the “Squad,” was placed on administrative leave from his position, Fox News informed.

President of the engineering business AI Engineers (AIE) in New York, Abul Islam, made the announcement that Maher Abdelqader, the vice president of their Manhattan office, had been placed on administrative leave.

According to Islam’s announcement, recent news about an AIE officer, the vice president of the New York City office, that was published on numerous major media outlets may have harmed the company’s reputation as a highly regarded consulting engineering firm that has been serving numerous public agencies and private clients for the past 31 years.

The notice went on to say that AI Engineers adheres to a strict code of respect for all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, nationality, country origin, or any other characteristic.

Additionally, it states that they take great pride in being open and committed to diversity in all of their interactions with their clients, subconsultants, suppliers, and the general public. It also adds that everyone can rest assured that they will be acting appropriately based on the ongoing due diligence being done.

Islam stated that AIE has immediately placed the person on administrative leave in anticipation of a more thorough internal investigation and that the organization is well aware of the distress and shock that such news has generated among some of its clients and workers alike.

The leave-taking vice president of AIE is an activist who has spread antisemitic conspiracies, including by posting a video that suggests Jews are “satanic” and in charge of the media and disputes the number of Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

Additionally, Abdelqader used his Facebook account to spread the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against Israel. He also pushed assertions on social media that Jews are not actually from Israel.
