Biden Admin to Remove 5 Terrorist Organizations from List

Five extremist groups will be removed from President Joe Biden’s administration’s foreign terrorist blacklist, Fox News informed.

According to a copy of the document obtained independently by Fox News Digital, Secretary of State Tony Blinken informed Congress of the removal on Friday, and each of these organizations is now considered dissolved.

According to the warning, the groups include the Basque Fatherland and Liberty (ETA); Aum Shinrikyo, a doomsday cult from Japan; Kahane Kach, a radical Orthodox Jewish group; and two Islamic groups, the Mujahideen Shura Council in the Environs of Jerusalem and Gama’a al-Islamiyya.

The move comes as the Biden administration is under fire for considering removing Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (the IRGC) from the list as part of nuclear talks.

A senior GOP Congress aide who is familiar with the current removal process said for Fox Digital that the Biden administration stalled the process for months through dragged briefings, then went fully silent on the issue, only to rush the whole thing in the current moment believing that nobody would realize that this is already done.

The republican also said that the GOP really believes that the move was just a preparation of the terrain for removing all the sanctions on the terrorist IRGC.

The Biden administration has made returning to former President Barack Obama’s nuclear agreement a top foreign policy objective.

However, little progress has been made on the matter, and reports have stated that the administration is planning to remove the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from the blacklist.

According to a group of 46 former US generals who openly lobbied the Biden administration not to remove the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from the list in April, the organization is directly responsible for the deaths of around 600 US military personnel and remains an active terrorist organization.
