Tehran has sent Israel not so subtle threat with missile attacks in a form of a newspaper article headlined “Just one wrong move!” published on Wednesday on the front page of Iran’s daily Tehran Times.
The article was published along with a map with rocket alerts for dozens of potential targets marked with pins, including a few on Lebanese territory and Palestinian cities in the West Bank.
Commenting on the Yedioth Ahronot newspaper’s article on Tuesday stressing that Israel’s strike on Syria was a direct message” to Iran, Tehran Times’ article says that the Zionist regime has obviously forgotten that Tehran is more than capable of hitting them from anywhere since it has intensified military threats against Iran.
Quoting the 2013 statement by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the article warns in the end that if Israel makes a mistake and conducts a military strike, Iran would destroy Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Although the threats are directed only toward Israel, the map also shows potential Iran’s retaliatory targets in Lebanon ( Jenin and Nablus), as well as Ramallah and Hebron, should Israel conduct a strike against the Islamic Republic.
Tehran’s threat comes while Israel and the US are advancing preparations for a potential military option should negotiations in Vienna on the JCPOA nuclear deal’s return fail.
IDF plans a massive drill for next year mimicking a strike on Iran.
However, the map avoids the coastal enclave of the Gaza Strip, though it won’t be the first time Iran to fire on Palestinian cities and towns within the so-called Axis of Resistance (the alliance of Iran and its proxies, including Hamas).
