The value of Saudi Arabia’s oil exports increased by 123.2 percent in June 2021 compared to the same month in 2020, the Oil Price information portal said on Tuesday.
According to the Saudi Arabia General Statistics Office, the value of oil exports rose from $7.4 billion in June 2020 to $16.4 billion in June 2021.
Official data showed that in 2021, a sharp rise in oil exports led to a 40.5 percent increase in the value of all Saudi exports in June.
In addition, the share of oil exports in total exports increased from 62 percent in June 2020 to 72.1% in June 2021.
Exports of crude oil from Saudi Arabia in June reached a five-month high of nearly six million barrels per day. In the second quarter of 2021, the value of Saudi oil exports jumped 126.1 percent year on year.
