Pete Ricketts, the Governor of Nebraska, stated on Friday that he proceed with his fights against the CRT (critical race theory) regardless of the decision of the state university to reject the resolution aimed at combatting this ideology, Fox News informed.
Ricketts’ remarks arrived in the wake of an ongoing controversy over the CRT issue, which has stimulated some input from students and professors at Nebraska University.
The Board of Regents, on Friday, has voted 5-3 to dismiss the anti-CRT resolution, which was aimed at opposing the introduction of the CRT ideology in the curriculum.
Nebraska’s Governor added that although the board had not approved the measure, he was committed to keep fighting against the imposition of the CRT in schools and higher education institutions.
