More Republican Lawmakers Oppose Biden’s Pick Stone-Manning to Lead the BLM

Seventy-five GOP lawmakers have opposed US President Joe Biden’s pick to head the BLM (Bureau of Land Management), Tracy Stone-Manning, Fox News informed.

The lawmakers, headed by Republican Bruce Westerman, a ranking member of the House Natural Resources Committee, urged the US President to call out his pick of Stone-Manning to pose as the BLM director.

Biden’s nominee has faced some serious accusations from the GOP in the process of nomination and has marked a decrease in her support, even from some conservation circles and BLM officials from the Obama era.

The GOP lawmakers have even written a letter on Wednesday in which they accuse Tracy Stone-Manning of being related to eco-terrorism, and voice great concerns about her qualifications to assume the post of BLM Director.
