Kevin Faulconer Files Lawsuit over Ballot Designation in California Recall Election

The team of Kevin Faulconer, a Republican candidate for Governor of California, accused Democrats from the state of trying to conceal crucial ballot information, Fox News informed.

The move comes after Shirley Weber, the California Secretary of State has blocked the ballot designation he preferred in the recall election scheduled for September.

Faulconer filed a lawsuit against Weber this week, alleging that her office has unlawfully denied his request to be referred as “retired San Diego mayor” in the upcoming recall election of Gavin Newsom.

The legal team of Faulconer requested a superior court judge to annul Weber’s decision before a certified candidate’s list is sent to the county election officials.
