The Chief medical adviser of US President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Saturday that he believes that the theory of the natural origin of Covid-19 is still the most likely one, CNN informed.
His remarks arrive as some of the officials of the Biden administration that oversee an intelligence review in the origins of Covid-19 now started to give a little more credibility to the theory that the virus might have escaped a lab in Wuhan.
This is a very dramatic shift from one year ago, when Democratic members have publicly ridiculed the lab leak theory.
Fauci said that the most likely answer is the natural evolution or jumping from an animal to humans.
