US President Joe Biden on Saturday said that the ruling of the federal court to stop the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program is deeply disappointing, Fox News informed.
Biden also called on Congress to approve the legislation aimed at granting illegal immigrants protection from being deported under a pathway to citizenship program.
Biden said that although the ruling doesn’t affect the DACA recipients that are currently under this program, it nevertheless produces an uncertain future for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants.
